Born and brought up in the Manchester area, my surroundings and locations are huge inspirations for my work. Living in a less urban part of the city I was blessed to be surrounded by vast landscapes which inevitably influenced my photography. After completing my Bachelors degree with a first class honour my fashion work took a break for travelling. Now I'm back in the UK with a much more cultured (still abstract) perspective on the world. The imagery I like to create has to have great composition, with my subjects interacting with their surroundings; either to compliment or contrast. Photographers that inspire me are first and foremost Steven Meisel for his dystopian subjects and innovative use of fashion stories. Mert and Marcus for their colour casts and mise en scene, and many others.
